They include team leadership, intercultural effectiveness, stakeholder management, business transformation and career development.
Adam began his career as an external auditor at Arthur Andersen, which instilled in him strong values of professionalism, attention to detail, credibility and quality. He then spent a decade in the retail sector, firstly leading the internal audit team at Marks & Spencer, and then in several commercial finance business partner roles at WHSmith. In these roles, he drove value creation and efficiency across the retail model.
Following this, Adam held various leadership roles at Danone in different countries over a 15-year period. Throughout his tenure he worked in all commercial divisions, manufacturing, HQ and shared services. He led major transformation projects, involving complex process, system and organisational change. In his last role, he designed and implemented the offshoring and centralisation of the Danone finance and HR shared service activities in Europe. These experiences fuel Adam’s coaching passion for supporting leaders to leverage culturally diverse teams in navigating complex change.
Adam is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), qualified by the International Coaching Federation. He holds a Cultural Orientations Framework Certification from Rosinski & Company, and is certified to deliver Hogan Assessments. Adam is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Outside of work, Adam loves everything to do with Spain – spending time there, perfecting its recipes, enjoying its music, continuously improving his level of Spanish. Adam is also an enthusiastic Formula 1 fan.
