Miguel is a seasoned global leader, executive coach and change leadership consultant, with over 25 years of experience in complex business environments. He works with leaders and their teams from a variety of industries across the globe; assisting them to establish and drive their vision, develop their leadership skills, lead transformation and organizational excellence effectively.

Before working as an independent coach, Miguel developed his career as a leader in the technology industry and has held several senior executive roles in the areas of General Management, Sales, Business Development, and Operations. He worked as Corporate Vice-President and President of Latin America Operations at Sun Microsystems, and Motorola Solutions, and as a VP and Global Head of Sales and Channels Operations at Zebra Technologies. He has led multicultural and cross-functional teams through multiple and challenging business dynamics, including managing multi-product and services P&L, executing operational turnarounds, delivering aggressive revenue, profitability and market share growth and M&A integration activities.

Miguel was born in Brazil and has lived in the USA since 1998. He speaks fluently English, Spanish and Portuguese. His multicultural executive leadership background and psychodynamic approach enable him to assist and partner with his clients from diverse backgrounds to enhance their individual and organizational leadership capability, by creating and holding a reflective and thought-provoking space, in which the balance of Awareness, Challenge, Support, and Accountability to Action can take place.

He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with Postgraduate Diplomas in Digital Systems and Business administration, and an Executive Master in Consulting and Coaching for Change, with distinction at INSEAD. He is an experienced practitioner of multiple Personality and Leadership Development Assessments, including Hogan, Leadership Circle Profile, Benchmarks 360, LAQ360 and ALP, MBTI and FIRO. He is a Member of the Institute of Coaching (IOC) at McLean Hospital, Harvard MedicalSchool affiliate; International Coaching Federation (ICF) and International Society of Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO).
