Katherine’s focus on clarity of purpose, agility and results for individuals and teams is a product of more than 20 years of wide-ranging executive experience. As the COO of MetLife Asia Pacific, a Fortune 50 company, she was responsible for Business Operations, Technology, and Risk. Prior to that, she led global divisions in Strategic Planning and Human Resources for Fortune 500 companies and major multinationals. Her industry experience spans from high tech manufacturing and logistics to financial services. She is well versed in the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, business integration, and restructuring.​

Multiculturalism is a way of life for Katherine. Originally from Canada, she lived in Rome, London, Beijing, Taipei, Boston and Ottawa before calling Hong Kong home in 2003. Her inherent appreciation of both the value and challenge of capitalising on diverse perspectives is highly valued by her clients. ​

Katherine holds a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was a Sloan Fellow, and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional and an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) Certified Individual and Team Coach. She is an Associate of the Institute of Coaching (Harvard/McLean) and the International Coaching Federation. She is also accredited to use Hogan, Saville, and DiSC psychometric assessments.​

Complementing Katherine’s professional work is her volunteer mentoring for The Women’s Foundation and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. She has also served as a Board Director for The Royal Ontario Mental Health Centre and MetLife Asia Pacific.
