Summary
Katja Rinkinen is a senior executive coach and specialist in executive development with 26 years of professional and leadership experience in Germany, London, Paris, Brussels, Finland, Switzerland and Mongolia. She has a strong background in financial services, professional services,nespecially law firms, and strategic consulting. In the early part of her career as a communications expert, she advised clients on transactions and crises, ensuring that top management cut a good figure.

Katja particularly enjoys supporting high-performing individuals and teams in competitive environments who want to reflect, learn and improve, in order to master challenging situations in a meaningful and goal-oriented way, to conduct difficult conversations constructively and to cut a good figure for themselves and others. Professional Experience
Katja Rinkinen has been coaching individuals and teams for over 16 years and has more than 3,500 hours of coaching experience, including 700 top executives and high potentials. Katja has additionally spent more than 4500 hours as a facilitator and leadership trainer, leading learning sessions and training courses for executives and leadership development programmes on (self-)leadership, self-reflection and leadership communication for DAX40 and S&P Global 100 clients as well as for the Federal Bank of Germany, Goldman Sachs AM, the International Monetary Fund (IWF) and Big Four companies. Since 2016, Katja has been heading up the coaching department and the coach pool at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. In this role, she has worked with more than 600 partners and partner candidates from about 30 law firms, including Magic Circle, large German units and boutique law firms.
Qualifications
Katja holds an Executive Master’s Degree in “Coaching & Consulting for Change” from the Universities of Oxford and HEC Paris (Haute Ecole de Commerce) with master's thesis on research into success factors and effectiveness in coaching (2020). She is a qualified executive coach (ICF), team coach (ICF), business mediator and leadership trainer. She also has additional training in non-violent communications (according to Rosenberg) and dynamics at boards (Tavistock Institute) and is certified in Hogan Assessments and Competitive Advantage Accelerator (CAA), a diagnostic tool for professional service firms developed by the University of Oxford.
Personal Interests
Travelling, preferably on horseback; reading, preferably Scottish crime novels; football, preferably when Eintracht Frankfurt wins; studying, preferably at Oxford University.
