Summary
Christina’s coaching expertise is founded in career management, launching and developing new businesses and accompanying change processes. She is keen to enhance leadership effectiveness, with the ultimate aim of achieving results and creating value.
Coaching Style
Christina concentrates her coaching on issues related to leadership, team effectiveness, performance enhancement, transition and change as well as conflict management. She is a guest lecturer at the Universities of Zurich and Basle, a Mentor and Coach at the University of St. Gallen and a member of “INSEAD Executive Coaches”, where she regularly accompanies executive development programmes. She co-authored several coaching-focused works, entitled “Globalization – from vision to practice”, “Coaching Mystique” and “Urban Gurus – turning growth into thriving”. Her book “Vom Abendrot zum Morgenlicht” (based on Schubert’s Winterreise) presents a valid model to effectively deal with crisis, and “Your choice! – der edelsteinige Weg zu Glück und Erfolg” is a series of short essays on leadership, self- and career-management.
Professional Experience
Prior to becoming a coach, Christina was a Member of the Executive Committee of Sulzer Ltd., where she was responsible for the Corporate Development function. She has worked in a variety of global companies and industries, such as human resources, general management and strategic consultancy. Christina is highly trained in psychology, working with internationally renowned professors and coaches from Europe, Canada, India and the US. Her coaching approach has been influenced by the works of Manfred Kets de Vries, Robert Hargrove, Daniel Goleman, Michael Lukas Moeller, Gunther Schmidt, Horst Krämer and Michael Bohne.
Qualifications
Christina holds a BA in Economics, an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in Coaching and Consulting for Change from HEC. During her training in psychology, she worked with many internationally renowned professors and coaches from Europe, Canada, India and the US. Her approach has been highly influenced by the works of Manfred Kets de Vries, Robert Hargrove, Daniel Goleman, Michael Lukas Moeller, Gunther Schmidt, Horst Krämer and Michael Bohne. Christina lives in Switzerland and speaks fluent English and German. She passionately pursues psychology, playing the piano, sailing and skiing and belongs to several professional and service networks.
