We are delighted to announce that Michael Wilson has joined Aesara Partners’ Executive Coaching and Consulting Team in the UK.
Michael is a highly experienced banker and sales manager, having worked for more than 25 years in banking, insurance, asset management and hedge funds. A successful salesman and leader with a thoughtful and reflective approach, Michael’s coaching techniques draw on a long and varied career in finance working with clients and very large teams on a variety of products.
Michael branched out into coaching on leaving his latest role at JPMorgan, when he coached and mentored within various FinTech start-ups. An ICF accredited coach from Barefoot, Michael works with clients on issues ranging from managing teams remotely, navigating career changes and running start-ups.
Michael particularly enjoys working on the strategy and purpose of teams and companies to help to move their visions forward. “I’m both excited and humbled to be joining the team of coaches at Aesara,” he says, “The calibre of the partners and their collective experience and abilities is incredible and I look forward to not only bringing my own experience to the team, but to learning from my fellow coaches.”

A successful salesman and leader with a thoughtful and reflective approach, Michael’s coaching techniques draw on a long and varied career in finance working with clients and very large teams on a variety of products.
Michael branched out into coaching on leaving his latest financial role at JPMorgan, when he coached and mentored within various FinTech start-ups which he found both stimulating and rewarding. Michael particularly enjoys working on the strategy and purpose of teams and companies to help to move their visions forward. Having worked in a variety of financial institutions – Dresdner, Lehman Brothers, Société Générale, JPMorgan – and in high-pressure environments, Michael is well-placed to support clients in similar positions. He has strong leadership experience after an extraordinary career in investment banking. He also has experience of dealing with big institutional clients – insurance companies, asset management companies and pension funds and draws on that experience in his coaching.
With a PhD in Engineering, fluency in both English and French (after a Franco-British upbringing) and an ICF accredited coaching certification from Barefoot, Michael is capable of working in a wide range of sectors and cultures. He works with clients on issues ranging from managing teams remotely, navigating career changes and running start-ups.
