Tommy is the former Head of Professional Services, SHL Talent Measurement Greater China, CEB. He has experience in managing a team of industrial/organizational psychologists and talent management consultants in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

He has over 20 years of professional experience in talent assessment and leadership development in the US, Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region. Tommy has provided senior leadership and organizational consultation, executive coaching, Assessment and Development Centers, business leadership training and psychometric assessment in the selection and development of C-suites, regional leaders, executive teams, succession candidates and high potentials for multinational corporations (MNCs) and major Chinese State-owned and Privately-owned Enterprises (SOEs and POEs).

Previous to CEB/SHL, Tommy assumed senior positions at leading global talent assessment and development firms in the US and Hong Kong including Korn Ferry in Atlanta and Right Management in Hong Kong and Atlanta.

He earned a Ph.D. (1994) and a M.A. (1989) in Psychology from Michigan State University was board-certified in California and registered as a psychologist in Hong Kong. A Phi Beta Kappa, he graduated at the top of his class with a B.A. in Psychology (1987) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Qualified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF), he is a member and volunteer of the Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC).
Based in Hong Kong and regularly traveling for business in the region, Tommy is culturally agile and fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
